The Cornwall Innovation Club, brought to you by Acceleration Through Innovation and the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, have launched a new package for club members. Originally formed as an outlet for innovative businesses to network and share knowledge about the latest disruptors for businesses, the group is now extending it’s offering to nurture a culture of innovation across the county.
As Kim Conchie, CEO of the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, said at the last Cornwall Innovation Club breakfast event: “Anything you can do to keep your own boat rocking will be crucial in these uncertain times… It’s programmes like this which spread the word of innovation so that Cornwall can really prosper”.
The club will now facilitate bi-monthly networking breakfasts which will feature inspirational guest speakers, covering a wide variety of innovation topics from a number of industry sectors. These mornings are designed to inspire ideas and will also create the opportunity to mix with other influential business leaders – encouraging partnership and collaboration between Cornish businesses.
The next Cornwall Innovation Club breakfast will be taking place on March 14th at Tregenna Castle, featuring Robert Rush of PFA Research who will be leading a session on Market Research and Innovation. As a powerful business tool, Market Research can be leveraged to both minimise risk and exploit new opportunities. When used correctly, market insights are fundamental for driving strategic decisions and unlocking sustainable business growth. It’s for this reason that market research, with a focus on proof of concept and feasibility, will be covered at the first 2019 Cornwall Innovation Club.
The new Cornwall Innovation Club Membership will offer member businesses a number of benefits, including complimentary bi-monthly breakfast events, exclusive networking opportunities and first release tickets to ATI’s ‘Innovation for Business… Making Change for Tomorrow’ event.
