With £500,000 available to support qualifying Cornish SME’s, the ATI2 Innovation Fund can assist businesses with grants of between £1,500 and £25,000* in six key innovation areas including:
- Proof of Market/Wider Feasibility Issues
- Proof of Concept
- Process Improvement / next generation
- New Product / Service to firm
- IP / Patent costs
In order to apply, businesses must be working with an ATI2 Business Innovation Advisor and have a well-developed innovation project. To assist with your application, we will support you with project scoping and provide guidance on compliance, procurement and State Aid rules.
Business will need to prove that they have sufficient funds to cover the Project in its entirety as eligible costs are reimbursed following the submission of a claim. If successful, the grant could represent a maximum of 50% of the total eligible costs of a project (up to £25,000).
Please note, the grant funding cannot be used towards “business as usual”, financing stock or working capital and the ability to fund the project will be tested during the application stage.
*The option of a larger grant (£25,000) may be available, however this will be the exception.
